The Ross Cup
A big welcome to all players to the 29th Ross Cup in Rome, Italy, one of our most historic events ever! In 2027, we will have 60 golfers competing in the Ross Cup representing three distinct areas of Italy, Tuscany, Rome, and Venice.
e
A big Ross Cup welcome to all new players playing in their first Ross Cup and all returning players as well. This year, the Ross Cup will be a three round tournament held over the entire week with one round being a practice round to warm up for the big competition.
e
The Ross Cup is being held at two golf courses, the Parco Medici Golf Club, and Marco Simone Golf Club, home of the 2023 Ryder Cup. These courses are among the best in Rome and are challenging golf courses.
e
The Resort hosting the group is the Sheraton Parco Medici, a gorgeous hotel very near to the Rome Airport. It is within a 20 minute drive to central Rome.
e
Three teams are competing for the 2027 Ross Cup, Tuscany, Rome, and Venice, and each team has been provided uniforms in the colors of the team they are playing for in the competition.
e
The first practice round game will take place on Monday, May 10, at the Parco Medici Golf Club, adjacent to the Sheraton Hotel. This will be a fun game of golf with four player scramble.
e
The first round of the actual Ross Cup will be on Wednesday, May 12th, with a Two-Person Scramble at the Marco Simone Golf Club.
e
The second round of the Ross Cup will be on Friday, May 14th. It will be a Two-Person Scramble at the Parco Medici Golf Club.
e
The third round of the Ross Cup will be on Saturday, May 15th, with a Two-Person Scramble at the Marco Simone Golf Club.
e
The results from all three days will determine the winner of the 2027 Ross Cup, and we will have a presentation on the last day at the Marco Simone Golf Club, all golfers are encouraged to stay at the course until the event concludes.
e
Hoping the weather will cooperate, and we will have an outstanding competition between the four teams, and may the best team emerge victorious.
e
Good Luck to All Players
Ted Mader, Ross Cup President
